Haiku is our long-standing premium sake product brewed in California, and it received a total revamp in 2022! We’ve given Haiku a brand new label and a brand new flavor, for a truly evolved sake experience. Pasteurized only once in the namazume way, Haiku is a deliciously fresh Tokubetsu Junmai sake that delivers big punches of sweet and tangy fruit flavors.
We at Gekkeikan are also dedicated to sustainability in our sake brewing. Haiku is crafted using Calrose rice polished to only 70% and sourced locally from the Sacramento Valley. Combined with our unique Gekkeikan yeast and some of the most advanced sake brewing techniques available, we can brew great tasting sake while also reducing our rice and water consumption at a time when having sustainable operations is more critical than ever.
Haiku is best enjoyed chilled in a wine glass, with food and good company.
